Bio
Before On Purpose, Pasha worked for 8 years as a banking lawyer advising companies, private equity firms and banks on acquisition loans and general finance, with a focus on social housing finance. Leaving this, Pasha provided 9 months of pro-bono legal support to the Catholic Agency for Overseas Development to oversee a change in its legal structure.
Outside of work, Pasha has supported disadvantaged children through the Junior League of London and enjoys serving as a trustee for Praxis Community Projects, which provides support and advice for migrants
Pasha holds dual British American citizenship and completed her legal studies at Columbia University after having graduated summa cum laude from Harvard University with an AB in government.
She delights in frequent travel to Denmark with her family and improving her basic Danish skills.
Placement 1: Challenge Partners
- Designed and implemented a strategy for recruiting, inducting, supporting and motivating a 10-person team, aiming to improve organisational health.
- Designed and implemented 360 feedback, refined six-month and annual reviews, wrote team handbook and organised and facilitated team away day focusing on values.
- Conducted a compensation review (including maternity policy), with recommendations for salary increases based on performance reviews.
- Increased average rating on “a place you would recommend to work” to 4.2 out of 5 (from 3 out of 5).
Placement 2: Big Society Capital
- Strategy– lead scoping and research on opportunities for social investment to help migrants in the UK
- Strategy – support and research on investment opportunities in profit with purpose companies
- Strategy – Support and research on higher education, host roundtable for 14 sector participants and co-author response to BIS green paper on higher education
- Investment – conduct due diligence on companies and loan portfolios for potential investments
